HEY YOU! What have I got to do to get you to post in my threads & PLAY NICE?
I've been here since November 1999 and there are STILL some of you that (over the years) I have truly come to admire somethin' awful, but you rarely if ever stop by an Edit King thread (even just for fun) to say "HEY PAUL!!!" and throw a thumbs up at me.
 And if you do stop by, it's usually just to make fun of me or say something EVIL or POOPY and hurt my FEELINGS!  &  THEEK!  Last edited by The Edit King; 09-16-04 at 05:56 PM. |

First of all...
To all of those who I offend or have offended (for whatever reason, i.e., editing, smileys, caps, bolds, italics, long posts, posting pictures, being silly, etc...), that is (or was) not (in all sincerity) my intention or motive, but I'll apoligize for it anyway, in an attempt to settle any hash or "Hub-Hub" that may be lingering around out there in cyberspace. And when it comes down to it... I shouldn't complain, as I have enough "DVD TALK ALL STARS" (that are the cream of the crop here at DVD Talk anyway) that pretty near always post & play in my threads, and they have become true pals over the months & years, and that's good enough for me! Thanks, Guys & Gals for taking time-out of your days & nights to stop by and blab with me. Besides, to me (personally) it's more than just "Attention", and actually, it's your friendship & fellowship (& fillieship) that I appreciate more than you will ever know. Explain (if you would) the need to have people in an internet forum acknowledge you. I assume that your being facetious, but i have a sinking suspicion that your not. Most of your posts have a theme of desperation, but this one is just off the charts. I just dont get it - if you dont actually know these people in real life, and probably never will, then it really shouldnt make a hill of beans of difference what they think of you, or if you are popular. If you do actually know alot of these people, then i suppose that is different- If a person begged others to speak to him in real life - I dont think that would go over so well. Apparently it works pretty well in an internet forum? |
