HA! You just got Everything'd!

Welcome to Everything Sheep, the game that pulls questions from a wide variety of subjects! No cricket, rugby, or soccer (yes it's called soccer) questions allowed! This game will be run in mostly the same way as previous games. Click to see how the previous 24 Sheep games went down:

    Rules

  • The object of the game is to out-think everyone by picking answers to questions that are the most common (Sheep) or least common (Reverse Sheep), but still correct.
  • Example Sheep question: "Name a notable US Metropolitan statistical area." A good answer would be Los Angeles-Long
    Beach-Santa Ana, CA
and a bad answer might be Hickory-Lenoir-Morganton, NC.
  • Example Reverse Sheep question: "Name a current monarch." Queen Elizabeth might be a bad answer, but King Mswati III of Swaziland might be a good answer.
  • Sheep scores are counted as negative numbers. Reverse sheep scores are counted as positive numbers. The lowest score wins.
  • The answers to each question are tallied up. Wrong answers in Reverse Sheep are scored two points above the most common answer. This penalty is multiplied by the Lightning Round Multiplier. There is no penalty for wrong answers on Sheep questions.
  • Certain rounds are considered Lightning Rounds (designated by a multiplier, such as 2). In these rounds, scores are adjusted by the number on the multiplier. A wrong answer still gets a +4 penalty in a 2 round and a +6 penalty in a 3 round, and so on.
  • You may not cheat by using Google, Wikipedia, etc. Use only what's in your head, and no you can't email me and ask me to Google it for you!
  • Please send in your answers to me via PM. Place only one answer per line, without numbers or the question itself. Those who do not do this will be penalized 10 points right off the bat.
  • I made an Excel spreadsheet for those who want to use it.
  • If there are any questions, controversy, bickering, etc. regarding Reverse Sheep answers, there will be no voting on them. Seriously, some of the bickering is fun but in certain games it really takes the fun out, so I purposely chose questions that aren't really up for debate.
  • Sheep questions are marked by an S:, Reverse Sheep questions are marked by an R:.
  • Unique Bonus!:
    Spoiler:
    None. Too bad.

    The Questions

My questions are set up a bit different from previous games. Rather than just a question, they are more like fill-in-the-blanks, but not at all like Match Game. Not at all...
I literally chose these questions at random out of the 50 or so that I came up with.

  1. R: I love the DVDTalk sheep/reverse sheep games! The one(s) in the ________ forum was the most fun!(only games that have completed at the time of this post will count, no premium forum threads)
  2. S: Since DeepdiscountDVD is always running those popular 20%-25% off sales, __________.com, another online DVD retailer, has decided to follow suit!
  3. S: Did you see _____________? It's seriously like the most disturbing movie evarrrr!
  4. S: I love Milton Bradley board games, especially ________.
  5. R: Well since ____________ is an official federal holiday in the United States, I won't be working that day.
  6. S: The best comic book superhero that isn't Batman, Superman, Spider-man, or Wolverine, is of course __________.
  7. R: Of everyone who has ever won a Grammy in one of the 7 rap categories, _________ is the coolest! (If your answer is a group, then the group itself has to be a grammy winner, not just an individual member!)
  8. S: Of all the major world events of this decade that haven't directly involved the United States, ___________ stands out the most.
  9. R: 2 You ever hear of Yum! Brands? They are the company that runs the ___________ restaurants. ( looking for brand name of a restaurant, not an adjective)
  10. S: When I'm not on Google (which is never), ________ is the search engine that I use the most.
  11. R: There are so many recurring (been seen in at least five episodes) Simpsons characters that aren't even Simpson family members! For example, ____________.
  12. S: 2 Newsflash! The government is adding another President's face to Mount Rushmore! Obviously the man most worthy of the honor is _____________.
  13. R: Of all the video game consoles released in the US since 1980, _______ was the most interesting.(no handhelds or add-ons!)
  14. S: So you're going to the Magic Kingdom in Disneyworld? Make sure you don't miss ___________. It's quite a memorable attraction.
  15. S: Who the heck would want to live in _________? It's the worst state in the US!
  16. S: If I had to pick one non-English speaking country to move to permanently, it would be __________.
  17. S: 3 My friend is at the top of his class in high school, and is looking to attend a very prestigious university. So far, he has applied to Harvard, MIT, and __________.
  18. S: _________ is the biggest issue to me when I am choosing a candidate to vote for in an election.
  19. R: I'm a huge daytime soap opera fan, and ____________ is the one currently on CBS, ABC, or NBC that I can't miss!
  20. S: Urban legends are fun to talk about, aren't they? Have you ever heard the one about ________________? (brief description is fine, if some sound similar I will group them accordingly, my decision)
  21. S: 3 I really can't stand my cell phone provider. __________ sucks!
  22. R: My favorite member of the A-Team is __________! (I'm not counting Tia Carrera or Robert Vaughn, so you have 7 choices, yes 7)
  23. S: He/she was no Einstein, but _____________ was still one of the greatest minds of all time.
  24. S: I can't believe they made a sequel to ____________! What was the point?
  25. S: Ok, we all know the greatness that is The Dark Knight, but _______________ is definitely the second most popular movie the 2000s.
  26. R: 4 There have been so many celebrity deaths in June and July of 2009! _________ was easily the one that affected me the most. (only 'celeb deaths' that have had their own dvdtalk thread will count, so Pakistani cricketer Khan Mohammad is a wrong answer. The thread must exist by the time of this edit)

    Good Luck!

We have a few games going on right now, so I will leave this open until Trek and Sports 3 have finished. Don't worry there won't be a cap on the number of players, either. Who would do that?

Great questions. Looking forward to playing.

Is #17 supposed to be a sheep or reverse? It has S but is highlighted Green.

oops. It is a Sheep question, or else someone could answer their local community college. I will fix it. I assume I made many mistakes so far so feel free to correct me.

Re: Everything Sheep Round 1 - Presented by Google!

I'm going to add to #13 the rule that handhelds aren't allowed in case anyone wasn't clear. It doesn't affect anyone's answers that have been submitted so far, but change if you would like.

There are a lot of questions in here that I know nothing about, but I'll play. My ignorant answers should amuse a lot of people around here.

Welcome to the club. I'm the guy who thought "U-571" was a character in Toy Story and that Bruce Lee was a member of the Wu-Tang Clan.

Actually two people gave the Bruce Lee answer.

Sheep questions don't have to be "correct". You just want to not answer stupidly if you want points.

Yup. The only time it really makes sense to answer incorrectly is if you don't think other people will not answer correctly either. For example, if you think no one else knows a real Nobel laureate.

In. This one should be pretty interesting. Too bad for me as a few sheeps questions I only had 1 or 2 answers.

UGH! Just looked up one of my answers (Reverse) - was off by a year. There goes one.

16 is really interesting. I like how a lot of these are opinion-based.
