He's talking about me.

I declined to change my answer because it would have been unfair to everyone else had I done so.

I don't think it's a bad idea for questions like the judge one, but I'm not sure how it would be implemented on a question like "What's the most pressing issue Congress will face this term?" If somebody answers "Proving that President Obama is really a secret Kenyan," can I penalize it as a wrong answer?

I think the next time I do one of these, I might subdivide the Sheep questions into penalty-eligible and penalty-ineligible.

What wendersfan lacks in smartitude on that particular question, he makes up for in good moral character.

That's why I said clear right and wrongs. Just put an asterisk next to the sheep questions that require a correct answer. No fuss no muss.

Lawrence Tribe vaguely rings a bell too but who knows. I'm not a lawyer or a law student.

These are sheep games, not trivia games. The point is to see how well you know the forum, not the subject matter (although sometimes you need to know a little of both)0

Re: Politics Sheep: 4th Term

actually, it'd be interesting to have a game where there are all subjective questions. then it all depends on how well you know the forum

For the judge question I went with a well-known judge. Not a federal judge, but somebody that many people are likely to guess out of desperation.

Plus, wendersfan is obviously a fan of Wim Wenders, who directed Wings of Desire, which was remade as City of Angels starring Nicholas Cage, who starred in Amos & Andrew with Dabney Coleman, who starred in Modern Problems with Chevy Chase, who first rose to fame on Saturday Night Live for his portrayals of .... Gerald Ford!

Re: Politics Sheep: 4th Term

I struggled with the President question, and with the question preceding it, the one about GDP. I had no idea what the blobs would answer.

That does appear to be the standard forum definition.

I used to criticise its usage, hence my sarcasm, but have since given up the ghost.

Not for me. Now if others who have misappropriated my term have misused it, that's their problem.

People above the blob mass know who the blobs are. The blobs only think they know.
