Four filler tracks are a huge bummer, but there are some good songs on here.
Creature Comfort, Put your money on me, Good God Damn... but yeah, overall a little disappointment.

I guess i'm in the minority and actually like this more than Reflektor.. To each their own i guess. I do admire that Arcade Fire is never one to make the same album twice or can ever be accused of 'all their songs sound the same"

Ugh. Listened to about half of this on Spotify and have to agree with the bad reviews. It's just painful sometimes (never ever go full ska) and I'm saying that as someone who really liked their first four albums. Don't like this poppy and cheesy direction at all.

For me, this is definitely as step up from Reflektor (which was about half filler imho). Good stuff and worth the purchase.

I don't hate the album... but is probably my least favorite of theirs.
I think it would be interesting if they actually had a second (or even third) album ready to drop shortly after the release of this one to tie into the concept.

The more I listen to this one, the more I like it. With the exception of a couple songs (Peter Pan and Infinite Content), I like it all, especially the final third of the album from Electric Blue on.
With new AF, Roger Waters, Grizzly Bear, and Future Islands albums this year, it's been a good one so far.

Saw these guys in Seattle last weekend, and while the new stuff was initially not something I was digging, seeing it live really covered me. Hell of a concert, and really well merged the new and old music together.

Hmmm.... They're playing Vegas tomorrow night. I loathe the new album, but like their other stuff. Maybe I might get a cheap last-minute ticket.

only a reported crowd of 5,000 in a 18k seat arena in MN .... yikes
going to see them tonight in Chicago
despite the lousy reception to the latest release it's no surprise all accounts of the show have been positive
