I hope it is better than that last piece of shit they released. Based on the above song, it will not be.

I wouldn't say I'm With You was awful but it was forgettable. I haven't really liked an album by them since By the Way personally. I thought that there was too much filler on Stadium Arcadium personally.

They are playing at a festival show I'm going to in a couple weeks. Not really a fan and still trying to decide if I want to stick around to see them. New song seems really tame.

The new single is growing on me. Agree I'm With You wasn't a terribly strong album. Their companion piece, I'm Beside You was better, IMO.
Cool they got Kevin Peterson to do the cover art for this album.

... but I was hoping for "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" remastered 25th anniversary deluxe multi-disc edition this year [September] instead.

Yeesh, I didn't like "Dark Necessities" at all. This was the first single off their new album!? It felt more like a B-side. These guys have definitely lost their mojo.

I didn't think they could shit out something worse than that last turd, but this one is a boring-ass, unmemorable, limp-dick bucket of piss and is even worse.

Album is pretty crappy... but a tour is going on sale. I really dislike the new guitarist (I'm sure most do). The Frusciante songs sound so weird live now.

I bought the album on iTunes over Labor Day when it was on sale for like $5.99 but haven't listened to it in full yet. From the stuff I've listened to its just average at best.

I was looking into tickets, but it looks like every show has assigned seats.
Fuck that. i don't want to see a band like RHCP from a fucking chair.
