Thanks, I think, creekdipper. It's oddly suitable for me.

Caves of Missouri by Brooks Williams.
"Wichita" by Welch & Rawlings. Gillian wrote it but it became a #1 bluegrass hit for Tim & Molly O'Brien (great brother-sister duo; I've seen both in concert and sat beside & talked with Tim during a wee morning hours jam session).

Tune from Sam (AKA "Leslie") Phillips, who had a great sting of pop albums produced by then-husband T-Bone Burnett, including The Indescribable Wow, Martinis & Bikinis, Omnipop, and Cruel Inventions. Sam also played terrorist Katya in Die Hard With a Vengeance, incidentally.

Re: Post a song you like or love.
^^^ That post made me look up Leslie West. I had forgotten that he had a leg amputated in 2011 (diabetes 2, not surprising given his weight issues) and that Felix Pappalardi was fatally shot by his own wife. Another good band done in by drug & personal issues by West's own account.
Here's a favorite Juliana Hatfield tune.
Live version from same time period as studio recording. Would have just posted this, but it comes in partly through the first stanza, and the video is frenetic. Still, shows the raw power of Juliana and her guitar chops. and sound quality is good.

Nice voice, but it looks like she cut her own hair without a mirror.

Among my favourite Corey Hart songs is "Goin' Home", a gorgeous tune from his best album Fields of Fire:

I'm a few years late. Didn't know this existed till this week. Good album from beginning to end.
