Also, word is Matt Sorum will be behind the drum kit for the reunion.

Its kind of admirable on Izzy's part, choosing not to tour. He doesn't want to do it, and the fact that he'd probably make at least 20-30 million, doesn't seem to bother him. Although I'd love it if he changed his mind.

It says that the tickets will top out at $250-275 and I honestly wasn't expecting any less. If they're going to be playing football stadiums though, I would imagine that a lot of the tickets will be significantly cheaper than that.

Happy to have seen the original including the Paradise City video (1st half of it) at Giants Stadium w/ Deep Purple and Aerosmith. The Illusion tour was not as good with Gilby and Sorum. But HEY if you sit back far enough Fortus looks like Izzy

There's no way Izzy doesn't take the stage at least a couple times with them. The question is just when. I'm seriously considering pulling the trigger on some Coachella tickets for this very reason.

Yeah, I can't imagine they will all be that price. I'd probably pay $80 or so per ticket to see GNR, although I've got a new kid coming next year, so I doubt I'll be able to see any shows at any price.

Yeah I'm guessing the $250-$275 tickets must be for the really good seats. If there's an option under $100 and they come close to me I'll consider going. I wouldn't pay over $100 to see them though. Not a big enough fan.

Ironically, I saw Sebastian Bach open for the newer version of Guns & Roses almost 10 years ago at the Gibson amphitheater. I thought Bach put on a better show than Axl.

I would up my price limit if the show included a reunited Skid Row as well. Unlike Rose, Bach still has it going close to 100%.

I saw them in 91 at the Summit in Houston and in 92 with Metallica and Faith no More in the astrodome. I love the old stuff. It would be cool to see them again but that is a lot of money.

I was at that show at the Dome. I thought GnR was the least of the 3 acts. I remember them being kind of boring with a lot of long-ass solos and too many covers.

Only in your own mind. Like it or not, Axl and slash are the faces of the band.

And it's not like they are putting out an album. Slash on lead is the GNR sound live. Period.

I'll probably pass on a show unless it is very local. The inevitable DVD/Blu-ray will be good enough for me. Slash is the draw for me, and I've seen him a bunch of times.
