Need help finding a song
It was a hit on VH1 and routinely made the VH1 top 20 back around I'd guess 2009-2011 but I never heard it on the radio.
Artist was a female and she had had a latin name. No band name; the act was simply her name. Like Ariana Grande (but it wasn't her).
Music video was filmed at a swimming pool in Palm Springs, CA and she sings and dances by the pool with people of all ages, including silly old people. It looked like a very cheap video, filmed in one day.

I did some sleuthing, and it looks like it's something called "Different" by someone named Ximena Sariņana.

That's it. Well done. I've googled it many times and found nothing. What was your secret?
And in hindsight that's not Palm Springs; looks more like Burbank.

My secret was looking at VH1 top-20 lists (oh, the horror) between 2009 and 2011. Yes, I don't have a life. Took me about an hour. You're welcome.
