Your favourite bands/artists that you haven't listened to in a long time?
I thought about this today... I consider TOOL one of my all-time favorite bands, but I haven't actually listened to one of their albums in... maybe two or three years. There's no particular reason, really. I just haven't bothered to pop in one of their CDs, and I don't have their MP3s on my phone or anything.
So what bands are YOU a big fan of, even though you haven't actively listened to their music in a long time (ie: over a year at least)?

If others are like me, just having a huge collection is going to result in you not listing to many bands in over a year.
But to play along, I listened to two bands just this week that fit this description for me. Triumph and The Cars. No new music from them is the last couple years and it took a some time to get back to them.

Belle and Sebastian, Bjork, and Beck, off the top of my head. Their newer stuff doesn't really do it for me so I don't think of them often, but their back catalogs are solid enough to guarantee a few spins every once in a while.

I was going to say Tool as well, but then I realized that I've even been skipping them when they come up in a shuffle. That means to me that I've just stopped liking them for the most part, as opposed to just not choosing to listen to them.
So, I'll change my entry to Dropkick Murphy's. I really like that band, but haven't listened to them in quite a while.

Now that I come to think of it, I used to really enjoy listening to Ernie Carpenter as a kid. Been years since I listened to anything like that.
