Whiteheart touring for the first time in 18 years

Whiteheart is a Christian rock band, primarily active from 1982-1997.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Heart

They are testing the waters by playing in four cities this fall, if they can get enough ticket pre-orders. The cites are Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, and Columbus, Ohio.

To find out more, go to the band's web page or Facebook page.

If you have any interest in seeing Whiteheart, please pre-order a ticket today! They don't have a record label or any other kind of support so they need to see that people want them to come. I believe the only city that has not made its ticket goal so far is Dallas.

I was never really into Whiteheart, but if Steve Taylor, Quickflight, or Barnabas ever became active again and toured, I would check them out.

Steve Taylor just did a kickstarter campaign for a new album, coming out in November. He will soon be on tour (if he isn't already).

I hadn't been to this site in years, but there is Current Steve Taylor info here: http://www.sockheaven.net/

There is some really good footage of recent shows and info about the upcoming album.

My parents made me listen to some christian rock when I was a kid and this was the only album I had by them. I always thought the cover was kinda cool but I never really liked them. Anyone remember it? I was more a Petra and Sweet Comfort Band fan at the time.

Those first three albums (of which Vital Signs is one) were not that good. Everything after, with lead singer Rick Florian, was much better.
