One of my favorite chill-out bands is 'Bohren & Der Club Of Gore', usually described as "dark jazz". Sunset Mission and Black Earth are both great albums. If you're a Twin Peaks fan, you'll probably like this.

I decided to spin some Vince on Sunday morning, and after Moon River and Mahna de Carnaval, the wife said it was depressing.

(I suggested "wistful" instead.)
