Garth's new album is really underwhelming. The song "Bang Bang" is one of the worst songs he's ever done in my opinion. Mostly because of the annoying "bang bang" "bang bang" that is sung throughout.

Is this the last we'll see of Garth Brooks 'Hits' albums now that he has passed the Beatles?

Garth put out a 250 page book that just happens to include yet another copy of his first five CDs in the inside cover (as if there are people who would want to buy the book but weren't all that familiar with the music). Gotta keep adding to those total sale numbers I guess. If I wanted yet another copy of Friends in Low Places or The Dance, I suppose I could pick this up. It's only $19.99 at Amazon.

They're not actually the original five albums, though. Each disc includes some of the master recordings that made it onto the albums, but they also include demos (including the ones that were pitched to Garth by the writers in some cases), alternate versions, and tracks that didn't make the final cut. So, yes, still a lot of song redundancy, but not quite more album redundancy.
