A bunch of artists stream their albums before they release, Weird Al's definitely not the first

I paid $1 more to preorder direct from Al's site.

$9.99/$12.99 in the Best Buy ad as well.

Party in the C.I.A., CNR and Another Tattoo are probably my "favorites" of the album but that's putting it nicely. They all just seem very forgettable.

For me, Party in the C.I.A. is the only song that may make it on my Best of Al mixtape. Even the Polka left me cold.

Any news on a new ALtv?

His schtick is getting as old and repetitive as the people he parodies.

While I like the CD, I'm kinda bummed that the songs I bought on "Internet Leaks" are repeated here. And, c'mon Al - not a single parody song about Facebook? Maybe next album ....

The best money you'll ever spend is to see Weird Al in concert.

How does that permission rights work?
So if I'm in a bar band I can't sing one of her songs in a bar?

If you are in a bar band, tell me where your next gig is and I'll drop whatever I'm doing to attend.

Saw him a couple weeks ago. Took the wife and daughter (she's 9). All of us loved the show. Of course, this is my 4th time seeing him, so that's no surprise.

Also, waited after the show out back by the tour bus to see if he'd stop by for pictures. Sure enough, he came out, and hung around long enough to make sure everyone in line got a picture/autograph/etc.

Such a groovy guy.

That video is embarrassing. The CGI head looks awful, and the video is bland and unimaginative.

With regards to the head, that might have been their intent. Good or bad. At least he's getting noticed. Al's been around a long time and this latest video seems to be going viral.

Re: Lady Gaga says NO to Weird Al parody... for charity!

After watching the dvd that came with the deluxe version I must say that I am disappointed, not only are most of them fan videos (and a couple really bad ones at that) but Perform this way is not on there which is pretty disappointing.

I liked the album, but I agree that it sort of devalued the experience to have already heard half the album in advance. I see why he wouldn't, but I almost feel like he should just do perpetual singles when the mood strikes him.

Ditto. I had the same experience when They Might Be Giants put out pretty much all of Mink Car online in advance, and the final album had that unavoidable sense of "...but I already heard this."

The album is good, not great, but "Party in the C.I.A." is awesome.

Yeah, but he used to have such amazing hilarious videos. Here he's just wearing stupid costumes, which I know is the point of the song, but I thought he'd do more in the visual realm.

The only time I laughed was when the fake Madonna showed up and Al pushed her off screen.
