The cast recording has been released. You can judge for yourself - but it pretty much sounds like bad U2 with Broadway flourishes.

1. I believe they officially "opened" last week.
2. I think the report I heard about them putting hit U2 songs into the show is not true. Can anyone confirm?

From what I understand U2 songs are used in the musical but are more background audio playing on the radio in a car or other sources.
