I took a spin through some of my favorites of the year (my rough Top 10):

Portishead - Third
Laura Marling - Alas, I Cannot Swim
Be Your Own Pet - Get Awkward
Marnie Stern - This Is It and I Am It and You Are It and So Is That and He Is It and She Is It and It Is It and That Is That
She & Him - Volume One
Martha Wainwright - I Know You're Married But I've Got Feelings Too
Ladyhawke - Ladyhawke
The Kills - Midnight Boom
M83 - Saturdays = Youth
Rachael Yamagata - Elephants...Teeth Sinking Into Heart

Deep Dish - Sergio's Theme, at the moment.

I take it posting a Youtube(or other) video of the song is not the norm in this thread, it is on many 'what are you listening to' threads on other forums.

That Marnie Stern album is fantastic, I just picked it up recently.

I'm having a tough time picking a top 10 for the year. My top 5 I think are solidified, but the bottom 5 are rough, too much to choose from.

Right now the best 5 albums of the year IMO are . . .

Gaslight Anthem - "The '59 Sound"
Drive By Truckers - "Brighter Than Creation's Dark"
The Felice Brothers - "The Felice Brothers"
Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan - "Sunday at Devil Dirt"
Frightened Rabbit - "The Midnight Organ Fight"
