This week I had the entire They Might Be Giants catalog on shuffle for a few days. Lots of fun.
Then later I listened to some Zeppelin. I recently got the Complete Studio Recordings Boxset after only owning albums III and IV. I listened to Houses of the Holy, Physical Graffiti and Presence for the second time ever.

Although we have started a new week, here is what I got:
Sunday:
Monday (contains my favorite Monster Magnet song, "Look to Your Orb for The Warning):
Tuesday (they are under a different name now...Day Without Dawn...but this album is amazing and they are from my home state, in Sopranos Country USA):
Wednesday (yes they sing in another language but they kick ass):
Thursday (Phase one of the Opeth journey):
Friday (Phase two of the Opeth journey):
Saturday (Yeah I like my variety...and but Waits is my favorite):

A good effort from The Hip after the abysmal In Between Evolution, and I can listen to the first three Son Volt albums anytime, anywhere. The most recent two, not so much...but they aren't really Son Volt, anyway.

Half Price Books comes through for me two trips in a row, first with The Hip and then with the Yamagata EP. The 40% and 30% off coupons made the finds even sweeter.
I always seem to forget just how excellent this Mull Historical Society album is. It has me singing along every time I spin it.

I deviated from my list a little bit, since I had to pick my dad up at the airport and that took forever. Got through Opeth and went to a classic (actually I might post this one in the obscure thread):
I fully believe if Andrew Wood had stayed alive, this band would have been gigantic. But then again, I think Kings X is the best band no one knows about, so maybe I am a little off there. Either way, if you haven't heard Mother Love Bone, do your self a favor and do it!
