The Best 80's Hard Rock Song...

...that I ever wrote.

Just for the hell of it I made a slide show video for the first song I ever wrote guitar riffs for (back in 1985). I didn't finish the song until 1999. Axl's got nothing on me!

The video is TOTALLY goofy, but I needed something to put the music to, so there you go.

Putting this video together and putting it on YouTube was a big case of, "What the hell? Why not?" - So keep that in mind should you choose to watch it. I kind of chuckle a little myself when I watch it. The 20 years in between pictures makes it even funnier... (But I still think the song's pretty good. And the guitar tone kicks ass!)

This sounds like the epitome of 80's glam rock! Even Paul Stanley-ish vocals at times. hah

Thanks forthe laugh, and putting it out there. That takes balls, man.

I'm not one for fancy guitar solos, but yours sounds pretty legit. :high five:

I'm now afraid to look back at pictures of me from the 90s.

I must give credit where credit is due (and I gave it in the notes on YouTube as well) - I played the 1st half of the solo, but the 2nd half of the solo was played by a friend of mine from junior high and high school named Stacey Kelly.

He's got a real Ace Frehley-esque style, but with a little more flash at times.

Here's an instrumental...(I love the 2nd solo)
