Ken Andrews (Failure, On, Year of the Rabbit) New Solo Album
Didn't know if there were any Failure fans on here, but Ken Andrews the frontman of that band just released a new solo album.
Right now it's available on iTunes, but it'll be available at record stores on 3/13. I strongly suggest you check this out. My favs so far are: Allergic, Up or Down, Secret Things, and Write Your Story. You can check his website out at www.kenandrews.com or his myspace to hear Up or Down - www.myspace.com/kenandrews. He's also going on tour starting 3/13 in Tempe, AZ. |

Re: Ken Andrews (Failure, On, Year of the Rabbit) New Solo Album
I've been in a major Ken Andrews mood lately. I'm currently listening to his solo disc and it's fantastic.
I also recently got both YotR releases, the first ON album and Failure's "Golden". All awesome stuff. I think Failure's "Fantastic Planet" is one of the best unknown albums of the '90s, and one of my favorites of all-time. The guy writes some seriously great music, and I love his voice. I wish he was doing some shows soon, or that he'd get Failure back together for some select dates, but it sounds like he's quite a busy guy and an in-demand producer. I'm pleased he's so active because there's such a wealth of material out there for fans of his work. |

Re: Ken Andrews (Failure, On, Year of the Rabbit) New Solo Album
He started to put up some stuff from Digital Noise Academy on his blog:
http://web.me.com/kenandrews/Artist_...E_ACADEMY.html One of them you can just download and the other requires an email address. Two out of three Failure albums have also been released on vinyl. Fantastic Planet and Comfort. Magnified is being released in Autumn. http://www.amazon.com/Fantastic-Plan...8878938&sr=8-1 http://www.amazon.com/Comfort-Failur...8878938&sr=8-3 Nice to see some Failure/Ken Andrews fans, and thanks for the bump! |

Awesome. Thanks for the heads-up. I'd love to catch a live performance someday.
