Bands I've wanted to see and that people may have heard of [not necessarily listng bands on 'multiband' tickets that I saw just because they were there].
GWAR [7 or 8 times]
Dead Milkmen 3 or 4
Rollins Band and Rollins spoken word a bunch
Jello Biafra spoken word
Alice Cooper
Murphy's Law
Def Leppard
Toad the Wet Sprocket
Bleu
Mojo Nixon
Ministry
X-Cops
PWEI
Suicidal Tendencies
Morrissey
Depeche Mode
Ozzy [in a theater, not Ozzfest]
Rev Horton Heat
Butthole Surfers
King Missile
Stone Temple Pilots
Bob Dylan
Huey Lewis and the News
Cheap Trick
RHCP
Ice T/Body Count
Janes Addiction
Living Colour
Jesus and Mary Chain
Moby [sucked sucked sucked]
the Toasters
Let's Go Bowling

Probably a few more, those are just shows I can recall of bands I liked [for the most part].
Bands I have never seen that I'd like to see, who are still around [as far as I know]:
Christian Death; King Diamond; Einstuerzende Neubauten; Misfits [I rather like the 'new' misfits]. Only bad thing is, NC sucks for live music that's not regurgitated pap or college rock, CoC notwithstanding.

My first show was Ted Nugent with The Michael Schenker Group opening (1984).

Since then I've seen....

KISS
Iron Maiden
DIO
Judas Priest
Ratt
AC/DC
Ozzy
King's X
Stryper
Motley Crue
Anthrax/Testament/Metal Church triple bill
Alice Cooper
UFO
"Thin Lizzy" (2000 - the remnants of the band, they were great!)
Deep Purple
Scorpions
Black Sabbath (1994 with Tony Martin - GREAT show!)
Ace Frehley
Badlands
Y&T
Armored Saint (one of the best live bands EVER)
Union (formed by Bruce Kulick from KISS and John Corabi from Motley Crue)

That's just off the top of my head, and I've seen dozens of other bands as openers.

Believe it or not, it was an unannounced appearance at a Huey Lewis Concert in 1987. Robert Cray opened for Huey Lewis and after Huey Lewis was done and all the teenyboppers were leaving, Carl came out and jammed with Robert. It was an unexpected treat to say the least.

Sorry, but that just doesn't justify something so horrific. I generally try to be open-minded when it comes to music, but sometimes a line has to be drawn, and a stand has to be made. Please, even if it's not true, at least tell us that either you or your loved ones were threatened with severe physical violence if you didn't attend those concerts.

Waaaay too many to list. Of particular note are...

Kiss (x3). The minor show was the Hot in the Shade tour, but I also saw the first show of the reunion tour at Tiger Stadium, as well as one of the Michigan stops on the supposed "retirement" tour before Ace and Peter left the band again.

Melissa Ethridge. Not really huge, but I saw her when she opened for Bruce Hornsby & The Range on their second tour, and her first album wasn't even out yet. So it's a cool "saw her before most people knew who she was" type thing.

Queensryche (x4). My frist time seeing them was on the Building Empires tour, the first time that they performed Operation Mindcrime in its entirity. Then I saw them on the Q2K tour a couple times, and then on the Mindcrime anniversary tour where I had sound check and post-show passes.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Saw them just before they split into two touring groups. Got to meet the entire band after the show.

Jeff Healey Band. Notable because of the small venue, a little club upstairs from a diner / bowling alley. The setting was so small and intmate I had my feet propped up on the stage in front of Jeff as he sang.

It's interesting to me how Neil Young makes his way into people's lists with such different tastes. He's got a fairly unique ability to cross over that way I think.
