Nickelback = boring and conservative
Is Nickelback for real? They must be one of the most boring and conservative bands around right now. Their lyrics are mush, their music is moronic, and their image is the same old same old. One wonders how much lower popular music can go. Where are all the creative bands that used to be around?

Last I knew they were a real band so yes they are for real.
I like them. I'm sure there is plenty of music you like that other people think is shit as well.

I like 'em as do most of my friends who are decidedly NOT people who like crappy music. The key is getting past the terrible ballads that they play non-stop on the radio. I haven't been disappointed by one of their CD's yet.

So radio stations don't play good music because labels are paying them big bucks to play shit. You in turn give the label money to sign more bands that sound exactly the same, like theory of a dead man or default. Most of the people I've ever met who listen to this band have no artistic skills of any kind or a knowledge of music at all. There's a big musical world out there....time to explore
In the future though, you probably shouldn't judge someone's lack of musical knowledge on one band.
