Busta Rhymes hates gay men
Rap/hip-hop artist Busta Rhymes was reported as saying he detests gay men, as reported in Richard Johnson's Page Six Column in the New York Post. He reminds me a bit of 50 Cent, who said he doesn't like gay men either. The other interesting parallel between these two artists is that they sexually exploit women in their music videos, often showing them in bikinis and revealing clothing. They've both probably evolved from the same line of Neanderthals.

That article says nothing about Busta hating gay men. He was uncomfortable around transvestites and gay men, which is not nearly the same as hating them. Get your facts straight before you post trash.

Yeah, that article was pretty vague.

If you think he's the only minority that hates homosexuality, I suggest you not enter the projects in ANY major american city.

Or some gay kid was being an annoying prick and when the bodyguards removed him, he decided to make up some nonsense about it being because of his sexuality. Or nothing even remotely close to this happened and someone made up a neat little attention grabbing story. The 'source' on this is absurd. Maybe you should start a thread called 'Robin Gibbs proves the existence of an afterlife!' with this link from the same site:

Seriously, if you want to hate Busta Rhymes, just go rent Halloween:Resurrection. No need to stoop to using ridiculous he-said/she-said celebrity gossip sites.

Cause it's so hard to believe that a black rapper would hate gays.
I'm surprised that this even made news.

1. Not sure how much I would trust a gossip column article in judging someone's character. Even if elements are true the thing reeks of hearsay and a story getting embellished as its told from person to person.
2. Regardless, if true the news wouldn't surprise me as homophobia is very common in hip hop.
3. The comment itself is unfortunate either way, but it could have just been a reactionary remark and not a blanket statement of his views about gays. Not to say someone who would make that comment even as a flippant remark is exactly gay-friendly, but those are two levels of condemnation here.
4. If he really is uncomfortable around gays there is surely some restaurant in Miami that wasn't *quite* as gay as the place he went to. I know there's a huge gay population in Miami, but surely there have to be SOME restaurants in the city that aren't "packed with transvestites, gay men and drag queens".
5. As for the "interesting parallel", what does that have to do with anything? A lot of media puts women in revealing clothing. Hell, a lot of the fashion industry is predominantly gay and they put models in revealing clothing all the time (just watch America's Next Top Model). I beginning to think Art has a huge issue with the fact people (read: straight men) find women sexually desirable, as all his threads twist around that in some way.
