Rolling Stone mag screwup
Any one else have the latest Rolling Stone (with Shakira on the cover) with some pages missing? My mag goes from page 115 to 141 with some of the messed up numbering later in the mag (but still missing the first page of the Flight 93 story). Bizzaro.

Same here only it was back cover with Jessica Alba & her milk mustache.

Man, that is so weird. It's not like someone ripped out the pages. The issue looks completely normal, but a big chunk is missing and some pages are out of order. I don't really care that much... just surprised that it happened. Thanks for checking.

does anyone actually read RS? I know my sub was about 30 dollars for 3 years, or something minute like that, and I seldom read it.
There is the occasional article that I read, but most of it I skip over
I think out of every 4 issues, something catches my eye.
Good articles I can recall
The whole Tupac/Biggie/LA cover up thing.
The Wellesely Lesbiansss
and lately the articel about the misuse of steroids / supplements amongst high school teens.

BadlyDrawnBoy, I don't really read Rolling Stone for the music too much. It's a bit too mainstream (and full of teen bands I ignore) Also, my political views are often way different from what they espouse. But, like you mentioned, I really like articles they write like the Biggie Smalls article. When they go in depth on stuff like that they are on the ball. Also, I only paid $4.00 for a yearly subscription. I wouldn't pay much more than that.

I like the mag myself. I don't read the music all that often, but if I'm bored I find myself sometimes reading the articles about bands I don't really care about (i.e. Linkin Park) they're usually written well enough to be entertaining, even it I could care less abou the band.
Like someone said above, about 1 out of every 4 mags has an outstanding article like the Tupac/Biggie coverup that's just journalism at it's finest (I'm a senior journalism major and work for the local paper ).
Also, I'm pretty liberal, so I tend to agree with and enjoy the political articles. I especially liked the one a few months back on how Ashcroft got his anti-terrorism bill pushed through Congress.

InnocentBlood, I'm not exactly sure, but I think I read that article back in June (so maybe it was the July or August issue). And if I'm correct, The Rock was on the cover, but I'm not sure.
Yep, just checked RollingStone.com and it was the June (around June 12th) issue with The Rock on the cover.
