Candy Apple Black

For anyone who's a fan of dada (and all of you who are not), you should give Candy Apple Black a listen. Three of their songs are up on MP3.com (just search for the band name). They're "so much cooler than the stupid bands who sing their stupid songs about love"

Very alt-pop, very catchy, and very good.

Anyway, the band is Joie Calio (bass player from dada), so there's the connection.

And in case you didn't know, Phil Leavitt and Mike Gurley are calling themselves Butterfly Jones these days.

What's up with the Husker Du reference in the band's name?

(Husker had a great album titled Candy Apple Grey -- or was that stolen from somewhere as well?)
