Just got it today.
Amazing CD, and I for one am happy it doesn't sound like every Ramones album ever recorded. A must buy IMHO! |

Oh man
. I'll be picking it up tomorrow for sure. Thanks for letting us know it's out. Southern winds , shining rays Are all I need for flight Flying way past zero Paradise is just in sight Through the distant blue Above the highest stars To the silent dark Send you all my love I feel so safe Flying on a ray On the highest trails above

I picked this up early today. I've only heard the first 3 or 4 songs, but I've liked it so far. I'll post more detailed impressions in a day or two after I listen to it a few times.

I forget what I was watching on tv the other day but Maria Bartiromo came on some show and they played Joey's song about her as an intro. I thought, cool, wonder how BMG's stock is doing.

I just got it myself and I'm really digging it. It's got that Ramones "vibe" but also branches out a little bit more and isn't quite so hard-rocking. On the first few listens I'd have to say his cover of "What A Wonderful World," "Don't Worry About Me" and "I Got Knocked Down" are right up there with some of the Ramones' best stuff. A great posthomous (spelling?) solo CD that will leave you smiling, it's not as sad to listen to as say, Nirvana's "Unplugged" became. Good stuff!
