I remember this one vid where it was all slow-motion, with a man running on fire...from prolly 96 or so. I kind of think it was Fuel, but may be wrong.

The sedonc video was this guy stuffing his face with food all in one long take....it may have been slow motion too...

This one sounds like it could be a band called Wax. The song was called California. The album came out in 1995.
The video had the singer of the band on a bus watching a man run down the street on fire. It was in slo-mo.

I did not remember this, but this site has it listed in the 1995 section. It sounds right, because I don't remember the group being big or the song being popular, it was simply the video that was the big talked about thing -- and even then, it wasn't shown very often.

I'm going to grab the song from Kazaa and see if it sound familar.
