I like how you supported that opinion. Most impressive.

Some opinions don't need elaborating. I assume you like these albums. Look, I'm all for bands evolving and "experimenting", but this was a bit much. Most if not all of the tracks on both albums sounded like something they churned out in an hour. To me, it was nothing but a bunch of noise. And it left me cold. I certainly hope that they return to the passionate music that made me like them in the first place.

And where is YOUR contribution to this discussion? Or are you just here to criticize other people's posts?

I implied that I wished for you to elaborate. Stop being so defensive.

Sure, you implied. Followed by a smug remark ("most impressive"). I'll stop being so defensive if you'll stop being a jerk.

No. I don't have an opinion.
__________
Monkey: posting merely to criticize another person's method of argument without having an opinion or anything constructive to add is not valued on the DVDTalk.com forums.
Daytripper: regardless of any perceived provocation, personal attacks are verboten hereabouts. Send a report to the moderator and then ignore the person who has given offence or you risk the suspension of posting privileges.
Anyone else: I split off this "conversation" from the Radiohead thread which was otherwise in danger of going bad. Benedict
