Springsteen fans: favorite tunes?
Okay all you oldies (myself included), let's list our favorites of The Brucemeister's ouevre. I tend to prefer his early stuff: More youthfully energetic.
1) BORN TO RUN (Born To Run, 1975) - Possibly the most rousing rock song ever composed.
2) NO SURRENDER (Born In The U.S.A, 1984)
3) DANCING IN THE DARK (Born In The U.S.A., 1984)
4) BROTHERS UNDER THE BRIDGES ('83) (Tracks, 1998)
5) BADLANDS (Darkness On The Edge Of Town, 1978)
6) SANTA ANA (Tracks, 1998)
7) ROSALITA (The Wild, The Innnocent, And The E Street Shuffle, 1973)
8) I WANNA BE WITH YOU (Tracks, 1998)
9) LIVING ON THE EDGE OF THE WORLD (Tracks, 1998)
10) I'M ON FIRE (Born In The U.S.A., 1984)
11) BLINDED BY THE LIGHT (Greetings From Asbury Park, 1973)
12) INCIDENT ON 57TH STREET (The Wild, The Innocent, And The E Street Shuffle, 1973)
13) NIGHT (Born To Run, 1975)
14) GROWIN' UP (Greetings From Asbury Park, 1973)
15) IT'S HARD TO BE A SAINT IN THE CITY (Greetings From Asbury Park, 1973)
16) CANDY'S ROOM (Darkness On The Edge Of Town, 1978)
....and others.

Saw him in Toronto when he was at the Air Canada Centre 2 years ago.. pretty good show, but he did not play too many of his Born in the USA songs... kinda disappointing.
Favs include:
Spirit in the Night
Glory Days

Bobby Jean, Darlington County, Working On The Highway, & BITUSA (played solo and given the delta blues treatment) were played quite frequently. Dancing In The Dark was played a handful of times, and given a countrified feel. My Hometown & No Surrender also periodically appeared

I just became a fan and have only made it through - Born to Run, Nebraska, and Born in the USA. Born to Run is one of my favorite CDs now though. I like "THunder road" and "Meeting Across The River" best off of that album.

Now that's not nice. Thread-crapping is not welcome. You wouldn't want me to crap on your Backstreet Boys thread, would you?
