Here's the high-res trailers:

http://www.apple.com/trailers/indepe...nch_nails.html

And Apple also posted a nice interview article with Trent about the making of the DVD:

Do we have to go to the store to reserve it, or can we just call? I don't wanna take the ferry and the train just to reserve the DVD and CD.

And, does it cost money to reserve it? If so, how much? And how much is it gonna be to buy the DVD? Deluxe CD?

You have to reserve it today.
Line started at 9am..
I'm pretty sure if you didn't reserve one by now, you can't get one.

Sorry =(

If, like me, you want the "Still" CD but not the deluxe 2-CD version of "All That Could Have Been", check this out (from a NIN.com email):

"nine inch nails news.

nin.com is now accepting pre-orders for "still", the companion disc to nine inch nails.live "and all that could have been"

this exclusive package can only be ordered via nin.com

to place your order, go to http://www.nin.com/still"

A few people mentioned the website earlier, but now it has actually been updated and preorders are actually being taken.

Is anyone else going to this? I got my plastic card
They really upped all the prices on everything. The double cd was $33!! It's absolutely ridiculous..but it IS TRENT REZNOR.

If anyone else is...I'll be the only indian guy there. Accompanied by a magenta colored hair and bearing a bright purple fur-like coat girl. We'll stand out..

I'm picking up the Deluxe CD set, so no. But am I the only one that goes to NIN.com every hour on the hour looking for an update?

I've been going there to see if they've announced the winner of the contest to win the whole package signed by Trent. I can't stand the thought of trying to find these locally tomorrow since I can't find any deals to speak of online. Be better to get them signed, and free

Well, having thought about it, ordering "Still" off of nin.com would cost $13 ($10 + $3 for shipping). Best Buy is advertising the 2-disc version of ATCHB for $19. So I think paying another $6 and getting the 2-disc version is probably worth it. I'll have to swing by Best Buy on my lunch break tomorrow and pick it up, along with the DVD.

Whew. The 2 disc CD and DVD are each $27.99 at FYE. Anybody know what they'll be at Circuit City? I have a feeling I'll end up wishing I had preordered these.

According to the website, $31.99.

It's shocking that they'd have it for more than FYE. At worst, I'll just pick up the CD there today. It's a sad day when I can get something cheaper at Circuit City than I can online. I wish it could be like the old days-- skip Physics to be at the store when it opens. But it's hard to leave work like that. And I haven't had Physics in 8 years.

Well, I'm going to Circuit City in an hour to pick up the Deluxe CD set... If I see the DVD price is cheaper than Best Buy, I'll pick it up there. I'll let you guys know!

Okay. Went to Circuit City... DVD is 24.99. Picked up both the DVD and the CD. The Limted Edition CD is in an awesome cloth-cardboard case. The DVD is in a fight-club type case, and instead of a booklet, it has this clear slip of plastic with a message from trent. Awesome.

Sweet. I didn't get to go at lunch because my boss took us out to lunch. Couldn't pass up the free meal, but now I'm wanting to skip out to go to Circuit City.

I didn't look, but I'm sure they have both. I picked up the Dolby version.

Oh, and the DVD and CD are Halo 17.

I am listening to the Still CD now. The deconstructed versions of Trents older songs range from excellent (The Becoming, The Fragile) to okay (The Day The World Went Away) to blah (Something I Can Never Have... It sounds almost exactly the same as the old version).

Adrift and at Peace is an average piano song, sounding like an updated version of La Mer.

Gone, Still is another average piano song.

The Persistence of Loss and Leaving Hope are both piano songs, but Leaving Hope has some added elements, such as staticy, groans of Trent, and some other echoy sounds. It's quite hard to describe. But it's an excellent song.

The title song, And All That Could Have Been is an excellent piece of work. It's not so much of The Day The World Went Away, which has a mix of Trents classic wailing guitars, but it's more of the new-age-sounding The Great Below mixed with something Trent's never done before. Kind of a mix of acoustic guitars, electric guitars, synths... It's hard to describe, once again, but I think it shows the direction he plans to take in the future, and I, for one, am very excited about it.

I got the DTS DVD and the LE CD in the mail today. I'm watching the DVD now and it has a sound glitch in it, coming from the right speaker only. At least, I think it does. What does a glitch in a NIN song sound like... well, it kinda sounds like touching a record player stylus with your finger. Like a muffled scratch. Anyway, I'm pretty sure it's a glitch. If anybody else gets the DTS DVD check in track 4, Piggy, at 13:53 and tell me what you think.

I happened to look away for a minute and I thought I heard another glitch. I scanned back and was glad to see it was just Trent banging the mic on a keyboard.
