Storage Unit for 1000+ CD's???

Here's my dillema. I have over 1000 CD's and my wife wants me to find a nice storage cabinet, or to box them up. Well, there's no way I'm boxing them up, so I need to find a cabinet (or something) that would have doors or drawer so it would look good, and the CD's wouldn't be on display. Any suggesstions??
By the way I'm in Canada, so if it's an internet company, they'd need to ship to Canada. Please help me where you can. My main objectives are for it to look good, be sturdy, and hold everything. Thanks

In the library here at work they have grey metal filing cabinets that hold about 5000 cds each. They are relatively small and unassuming. I don't know where exactly you could find them though.

What's wrong with displaying your record collection?

That, and it looks so untidy, as it takes up so much space. Plus it would get me wife of my back about running out of space whenever I buy more CD's.

I just bought two cabinets from Ca-Am. They are expensive, but they definetely do the job. I debated for over two years about the purchase, and now that I did, I only wish I did it sooner. You can arrange your drawers to accomodate CDs, DVD,s and VHS. And they LOCK! Great if you've got kids.

...oh, and they ARE in Canada. You may save a bundle on shipping. Since I live in the states, shipping alone cost me about $150.00 USD.

Jippy,

Maybe it took two years to get over 1000 DVDs.

That's why I finally bought the cabinets. It's nice having a LOT of extra room to grow into.

Thanks for the suggestions, anyone else have a site, with perhaps a cabinet or wall unit idea (preferably with doors)?
Thanks again.
