I actually thought this was a good comeback.
McClane says this in reference to being called a cowboy by the bad guy.

Anyone else think this was not cheese?

I also agree with the line, "Always bet on black!" by Wesley Snipes in Passenger 57. That was the ultimate cheese that year.

"SPECIES"

Forest Whittaker plays a psychic hot on the trail of Natasha Henstridge. Whittaker and others come across some dead bodies in a tunnel and he says:

"she was here!"

Makes me cringe just thinkin' about it.

"I come in peace"
"Then go in pieces" BAMMMMMMM

I can't remember the movie, but I'm pretty sure it was the guy who played Punisher who said it.

I saw this in the trailer on video, the movie was "I Come In Peace" starring *drum roll* Dolph Lundgren.

Mine would have to be that line from Lord of the Rings, the one in the trailer, which I saw for the first time last night.

That's the first thing I thought of when I read the title of this thread! What's also cheesy about that movie, is the avalanche of advertising. I think the pepsi cola vending machine had more screen time than Stallone in the first ten minutes. Absolutely shameless... the only other movie with as much blatant advertising in it that I've noticed is Hannibal. Now I know which brands to buy!! Thanks movies!!

Also, someone refered to a scene in Species. There's an even WORSE one, involving Forest Whitaker walking into a room where the walls are covered in blood, things are thrown all over the place... and he uses his psychic abilities to figure out that...

"Something bad happened here"

Well... yeah!

I think we should all agree that the winner is in fact "Drop that zero and get with the hero." as posted above.

Once again, Vanilla Ice is the best. 10th Year Anniversary of Cool as Ice... Can you say 2-Disc CE?

Roadhouse

In the scene where Daulton is looking for one of his bouncers, he finds him f*cking this chick when he is on his shift supposed to be working. The bouncer says "But I'm on my break". Daulton responds "Stay on it".

"I know kung-fu!!"
I guess the *line* itself is fairly straightforward and not too cheesy, but the way it is delivered by Keanu in The Matrix is freakin' hilarious, and I DON"T think it was intended to be...

Looking through old threads, and noticed there are like 4 or more BANNED members in this thread! Not only that, but almost every other contributer never got past "Member" status... weird. I guess I should stay on topic- the cheesiest line I can think of rang loudly in my ears late last night on HBO. "My name is Jack Carter, and you don't want to know me."

BTW, I s'pose the Mods should move this thread...

"Mostly they come at night...mostly"

Even though that is a cheesy line everytime I hear it I go the next 2 weeks saying it.

Oh, the drama of the supermodels-type soldiers in Starship Troopers.
