I should clarify my earlier statements. I think both are extremely well-crafted movies so I wouldn't take anything away from either one in that sense. In light of that, for me it comes down to my personal reaction to the themes of each movie and I find No Country a little too nihilistic and bleak. Sicario is cynical in its own right, but the questions it raises surrounding moral ambiguity and the lengths we may be willing to go for some "greater good" are ultimately more interesting to me.

Ooh that is rather strong and maybe a bit hasty. Trash? To each his own obviously, but WHY would you even consider NCFOM 'trash' ??
