This was pretty awesome. It had more humor and slapstick than Headshot and The Night Comes For Us, but about the same level of brutality. Action was great. Overall a little long though.

I find virtually all of Tjahjanto's film's are overlong (though still interesting). Local audience expectations for his work, perhaps? I don't know. His former 'Mo Brothers' partner Kimo Stamboel seems to have a better grip on tight running times -- usually 100 minutes or less -- but his stuff doesn't seem to get the same international recognition.

Finally got a chance to watch this earlier today.
Timo Tjahjanto is still one of my favorite Directors/Writers currently working and this film is additional proof of why.
The film is definitely longer than it needs to be but I loved the over-the-top violence, action scenes and comedic beats.
I couldn't stop laughing when the camera cut to
Please correct me if I'm wrong but Kimo Stamboel (post-The Mo Brothers) has only directed 4 films, 3 of which were released this year.
Two of those films, the remake of The Queen of Black Magic and Ivanna seemed to do well at the box office in Indonesia ($2.8 million for the former, $8.5 million for the latter). The Queen of Black Magic also was picked up by Shudder.
Also according to his Instagram, his newest film Jailangkung: Sandekala seems to be doing well with over 1.5 million viewers thus far (as of October 2022).
