Movies your afraid to rewatch because they might not hold up

Going back to my Swamp Thing thread in which I said I was afraid to try and watch the movies since I'm not sure if they would hold up today. Anyone have similar thoughts on other movies?

I also feel the same about Kull the Conqueror(which I enjoyed when I first saw it) Wayne's World and Nightmare on Elm St 4.

I watched Wayne's World about 6 months ago. It holds up.

I have a feeling that if I rewatched a lot of best picture Oscar winners that I will be disappointed.

Here's one example :

Since the release of Hacksaw Ridge some here were complementing how good of a director Mel Gibson is. After over 20 years I watched Braveheart the other day and it was terrible.

I was afraid to watch the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films from the 90's. I did not too long ago and the first one stands up and is great. The second one is still pretty good with comedy taking over for action. The third one still sucks

Early Jackie Chan films do not hold up as well as Bruce Lee films

Aside from the immortal saxaphone man, it's held up very well. Just hashtag it on IG or tumblr and check out how many young girls have fallen in love with this movie.

I'm somewhat biased since I grew up on it, but the original Swamp Thing totally holds up!
