Favorite 80's teen comedy?
i am a kid of the 80's and have been on such an 80's kick lately with all these great (if somewhat cheesy) and sometimes forgotten teen comedies. been making my way through them...
Secret Admirer, Three O'Clock High, Some Kind of Wonderful and last night was my all-time favorite...
made bittersweet with Amanda Peterson's passing.
of course, John Hughes pretty much owns this genre with his classics. The Breakfast Club is another favorite of mine, but doesn't compare to the replayability of CBML.
so what is your favorite teen comedy from the 80's?

I've never seen Adventures in Babysitting, and it's up on Netfilx. Movie has a solid reputation. I'll give it a try this week.

Amazon Prime has one of my favorites, Up The Creek (1984). The video quality's pretty good. I think it's the first time I've seen it widescreen.

It's ok, although everything is kind of downhill after Elizabeth Shue's opening dance number.

Better Off Dead. I saw it as an adult, but I was surprised at how wonderfully absurd the whole thing was.
As a kid though, I probably would have said Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
