We shall see, I thought there was a recent article stating he was doing at least 2 more? Seems like he changes his mind daily.

Apple, Amazon Join Race for James Bond Film Rights

Also... there continue to be rumors that this film will be a remake of On Her Majesty's Secret Service...
If that is true, I think it is really, really lame.

There's a love interest and a Blofield now, but there's no way they can kill a second love interest in five Daniel Craig Bond films can they?

Well they killed at least one per movie before him, so yes.

The only thing worse than being a love interest of Bond is being a red shirt on an away mission.

Come on, you know there's a world of difference between killing Vespa or Tracy Bond and having them die in James' arms as he sobs and fatally painting some random skank in gold after she has a quickie with Bond in a massage parlor.

That article reads like it's just the film distribution rights up for grabs. EON will still have the film rights and be producing the films.

Correct. It went from MGM to Sony... and now Sony may lose it. The main point is Amazon and Apple are trying to really step up to the plate in regards to distribution.

Will Monica Bellucci Return as ‘Bond Girl’ Along With Daniel Craig?
By Nick Vivarelli @NickVivarelli Nick Vivarelli

Now that Daniel Craig is back as Bond, will Monica Bellucci be back as his “girl”?

Bellucci is being coy about rumors that Craig wants her to reprise her role from the last Bond outing, “Spectre,” in the new installment of the franchise. Bellucci’s agent told Variety on Wednesday that the actress is neither confirming nor denying rumors that she might appear in the 25th film to feature the suave super-spy, which is scheduled to hit theaters in 2019.

On Tuesday evening in Rome, where she was feted with the Virna Lisi lifetime achievement award, Bellucci smiled at reporters who asked her to comment on the rumors, telling them: “I can’t say anything.”

Bellucci’s appearance as one of two “Bond girls” in “Spectre” made a splash in 2015 when she was dubbed the oldest Bond girl ever at 51. Four years older than Craig, she made it clear at the time that she did not like the epithet. “I can’t say I’m a Bond girl because I’m too mature to be a Bond girl,” she told the Guardian newspaper. “I say ‘Bond lady,’ ‘Bond woman.'”

Variety praised Bellucci’s performance in “Spectre,” lamenting that she had been “underused” in her role as Lucia Sciarra, the widow of an infamous Italian assassin. Other critics have also said that Bellucci was not given enough screen time in the film.

Craig, the second-longest-serving 007 after the late Roger Moore, announced in August that he would be playing the iconic role for a fifth time, despite saying earlier that he did not want to make another Bond film. “White Boy Rick” director Yann Demange is reportedly the front-runner to direct Bond 25, which Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Eon Productions will produce. The screenplay is by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who also penned “Casino Royale,” “Quantum of Solace,” “Skyfall” and “Spectre.”

Bellucci will next appear in Australian sci-fi horror film “Nekromancer,” directed by brothers Kiah and Tristan Roach-Turner. It will be her first role as a “truly evil” character, she is quoted as saying.

MGM, Annapurna Joint Venture Near Domestic Deal On Next James Bond Movie

EXCLUSIVE: In a move sure to make the Lion purr, MGM and Annapurna are thisclose to announcing they will team on the domestic release of the next James Bond movie. This all should be finalized this week, and rumors are flying today. This follows the announcement that MGM was joining forces with Annapurna in a joint venture, and the way this 007 deal will work is MGM’s Gary Barber and producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson are calling the shots, with Erik Lomis executing the domestic distribution and Marc Weinstock the marketing for the domestic release. While some might be surprised the historically conservative producers would entrust the crown jewel to a relative newcomer like Annapurna, Lomis worked on the distribution of Bond films before at MGM, and Weinstock marketed two of them while at Sony Pictures.

Can't wait to see what transpires, since Annapurna did such an amazing job with the last "Terminator" film...

I dunno, I find the Monica Bellucci rumor more newsworthy.

Terminator Genesys was handed off to Skydance/Paramount (Megan Ellison's brother) before it really got going.

I would have loved to see what would have cooked up if it stayed at Annapurna. Though really, I'm just glad it's going back to James Cameron, Fox, and now Tim Miller.

Grain of salt and all that, but according to a Spanish site, two sources claim Christopher Nolan is directing.

However, on this occasion, TWO different sources , one from the United States and the other from the United Kingdom tell us that Nolan will be the director and that he is already working on the film. These solid sources foresee that the official announcement can be made in January or February 2018 .

If true about Nolan it looks like Craig driving off with Lea Seydoux will be my swan song for his run.

Hopefully he is only going to ruin one Bond film and they will get a new director for the next actor.

Wah wah indeed. Nolan would be an interesting pick for the next director. He can definitely give us some good action and a fairly good story.

I would much rather Nolan take over with a new actor as Bond.

I’m a big Nolan fan but I’d almost rather they just stick with a director for hire on Bond and Nolan can stick with his own films.

Unless they do something original like setting it in the 60s, which wouldn’t make any sense with a Craig Bond.

I don't care who the director is. Just give me a great film!

I've said this before. In the off year(s) 007 films, put out movies involving the other 00s. By doing that you can cover the entire multicultural spectrum (black, asian, female, etc.) and test out minor baddies and plot points. This franchise could be a cash cow.

Nolan would be a good choice but I’d rather see him come in fresh than capping off the Craig era of Bond personally.
