Actors who have (suprisingly) never worked together in a movie?
Meryl Streep and Daniel Day Lewis
Strange how the two most acclaimed actors of our generation have never appeared in a movie together.
Dustin Hoffman and Al Pacino
With their long and varied careers you'd think they would have landed up in the same project at some point, but nada.
Tom Cruise and Robert DeNiro
Do these guys not like each other? Wonder how they've never ended up in at least one film together.
Any others?

James Caan and Robert DeNiro have never acted with each other on screen, although both were in The Godfather II of course. I only noticed because DeNiro has worked with all of his other Corleone "sons."
That's the first thing I thought of.

I've always wondered given they're both good friends with Spielberg, why the 2 Toms--Cruise and Hanks--have never worked together.

I'll go the opposite way and focus on the ladies. It's probably tougher to get two A list ladies in the same flick.
How about Sandra Bullock and Julia Roberts? If they've been in something together, I'm drawing a blank. Toss in a 'in her prime' Meg Ryan. Three queens of RomCom that never crossed paths.

I think most people wondered this for a long time, especially when both were ruling the 90s. However, I believe Cruise and Spielberg had a big falling out in the mid-2000s. Surprise surprise, it was over some Scientology bullshit.

I've never seen but An Alan Smithee film: Burn Hollywood Burn has Chan and Sly credited as cameos...sooooo they've been in the same movie? I dunno. I've never seen it.
