Despite liking Johnson and Hart a lot the trailers haven't really sold me on this, but given the mostly positive reviews I might check it out at some point.

I'll embarrassingly admit, I couldn't predict who the Black Badger was. In most films like this, it's easy for me to pick out the twist, since the plot is usually second to the comedy/action. The reason I couldn't predict it: Johnson gave some good, menacing facial expressions during some shots.
For example,

Didn't affect the entertainment value at all since this was all about the comedy. Seeing the big capable guy being smitten like a tween over the little guy was a nice quirky change.

The Rock was "sexy as dick" in this movie. He was the best part. Really funny. I liked that he was actually playing a character that was different than what he normally does. I like Hart's standup, but his movies generally are not very good.
This one is worth seeing atleast once.

I'm really curioius how they made fat teenage Robbie.
I'm guessing it was mostly CG with The Rock's face digitally inserted on some exaggerated CG body. Hart as a teenager looked pretty good too.

I'm a little surprised there hasn't been more traffic on this movie since it came out on DVD. Anyways, I thought it was great. And like others have said, The Rock and Hart have great chemistry (which should also help with Jumanji). Hopefully some others will check it out soon as well. I'll pick it up on Black Friday if it's under $10.

I blind bought the Blu-ray and enjoyed it very much. The story is nothing great but the chemistry and execution was dead on.

I found The Rock a little annoying in this, but enjoyed it for the most part.

Him in a fanny pack was funny, but overall I didn't really care for this too much. And I like The Rock and his comedy. But something didn't gel for me with this movie.

Rented this and found it a lot of fun. A lot of the good content was in the trailer, but had a grin on my face pretty much the entire time. I thought the twist at the end was pretty good. It did
I could see a sequel if they get the right story, but it could be too much of a stretch.

I also enjoyed the movie quite a bit. Dwayne was great, as always, and Kevin Hart wasn't quite as annoying as he could be.

I remember watching this in the theater. It’s been four years already?
