On the other hand, I kind of liked it even if they didn't attribute it directly to Nightwing. It was just kind of neat seeing the design (until all the other wacky costumes showed up in that movie )

It wasn't terrible but it didn't really fit with him being Robin. I just liked the first costume better.

Well, the non-weird snow Nightwing costume looked fine

Re: The Batman (D: Ben Affleck)

Yeah those were the ice costumes, used for the final fight (and to sell toys). For the rest of the movie:

Edit: Never noticed O'Donnell is taller/as tall as Clooney

I think it was a transition to Nightwing for movie #5 that never happened

Holy crap, I never noticed until just now that the B&R Robin costume was a red Nightwing costume! Mind blown.

The blue and silver costumes are terrible. The regular ones don't look as bad by comparison.

Not surprising. I've always been distracted by how Clooney's head bobbles when he talked...

the lack of nipples on Batgirl's costume is criminal.

What ever happened to Alicia Silverstone anyways? I used to think she was cute back in the day but she seems to have dropped out of acting all together.

Edit: Nevermind. I guess she works once in a while but she doesn't seem to take any big roles really.

Re: The Batman (D: Ben Affleck)

I don't think it would be that crazy, at least if you start Robin off as a 15-16 year old kid. In another recent thread someone even mentioned how Kick Ass made Hit Girl reasonably interesting as a kid beating up adults, even if that movie is significantly different in tone.
That's kind of the problem though. The entire point of Dick becoming Nightwing was that he was becoming his own man and didn't want to be in Batman's shadow anymore. If you have a Dick Grayson who is 15-16 years old and is going to be an adult by the time the next movie comes out it's almost pointless to start him out as Robin. By the same token, it makes it almost more about Dick than Bruce to have him go through that. Tim Drake could work, but you run into the same problem with him as well.

Truthfully, I've always thought that Robin could hold his own movie down somewhat well. If they went the route of him giving up being Robin and becoming Nightwing his own movie would be the best place to do it. I know that they were interested in spinning Chris O' Donnell off into a Nightwing movie but I still think he could be in his own movie independent of Batman.

Truthfully aside from the nipples I like the Robin suit from Batman Forever.
I always liked his suit from BF also. The only complaints I had about it were the mask being too big, and the muscles and nipples on the front of it.

I don't think it's her not taking any big roles as much as her not being offered any big roles. After Clueless she was Hollywood's new it girl but B&R seemed to derail her career like it did Clooney and 0'Donnell. The only other movie I remember her getting top billing for after B&R was that Brendan Frasier bomb shelter movie.

Re: The Batman (D: Ben Affleck)

Looks like it.

Or she is taunting the kid by eating in front of him, then kissing him so he gets a hint of the food. Then she pulls away and eats more.

At one time I would have let her shit in my mouth. But chewing food and spitting it in your kids mouth is crossing the fucking line.

So Affleck confirmed that the title of his solo Batman film is indeed The Batman. I know we've been calling it that but its official now. I don't mind the title. Simple but it works.
