If they're casting Sana, I'd go with Zoe Kravitz.
I'd go with Zoe Kravitz, anyway. I'd hit Knowing like Chris Farley and a mountain of coke.

Now they just need to cast a young Lobot.
Who is going to be playing young Chewbacca? I assume they'll be using the guy that did all the non-sitting scenes in TFA for every Chewbacca appearance going forward. Have they said if Mayhew is doing anything for episode 8 yet?

I'll go see it, but of all the SW stuff announced, this holds the least interest for me. Han Solo is a cool character, but his character is basically a smuggler with a heart of gold kind of deal. I really do not see what his back story adds. There is not really much mystery there.
I am pumped for Rogue One, that looks cool. Yoda would be cool, Obi-Wan in between the trilogies would be cool, new characters/time periods (like the Old Republic) are cool.
Maybe they can wrap it in a good story and make young Han Solo a good movie, but I have my doubts.

I'm against this project cuz I feel it would lessen the impact that Han has in SW when he comes originally. You do a backstory.. his MO, his attitudes, etc... just would feel cheapened, I think.
Saying that... I think who they got to play is cool. Perfect young Lando. I'd imagine he'd be drowning in pussy.. to whatever degree the rating allows him.
Above all? Miller and Lord. They're fucking great directors who can handle a lot shit rolling down in the narrative and make it work. They're perfect for something like this.
Still though.. while the players in this excite me... the concept does not. I'll watch it for sure... but... I'm very iffy on this, as much as I want Miller and Lord to rock their next movie.

The concept of this one doesn't work for me. Indiana Jones in Space.
The talent involved has me very interested. Indiana Jones in Space!

OMG. Fucking horrible idea that would be to get that guy. Jesus. Yes. He can imitate Ford and looks like him. But they need a fucking solid actor for this. Not some guy who can imitate Ford. That shit would run old so quick. That Blake Lively movie worked well w/ it cuz it was such a small moment.

My problem is that this project is COMPLETELY unnecessary. Sure, you can say Rogue One is too and I'll give you that, but at least it is all original characters... and I like the Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead vibe to it.
I'd be down for a Boba Fett prequel because its a costume, not Harrison Ford. I was fine with Ewan McGregor as Obi Wan because he was supposed to be decades younger... not... what... ten years younger?
I see a young Harrison Ford with Anthony Ingruber. This guy, unless they add some prosthetics is just going to be a guy who looks nothing like Harrison Ford playing one of Harrison Ford's most iconic characters. Fuck that noise.

He does look like Ford. We can't take that away from him.. but we don't need an imitator to head a movie. It's not about acting like Ford. It's about getting everything that makes the Han we know. It's not about imitation.

I enjoyed the books that told about his younger years, so if these can capture even a fraction of that it should be fun.
