Seems to have a Raid/Dredd vibe. The trailer makes it look alright, so I'll check it out.

The first 10 minutes were a bit rough, but this was a lot more entertaining than it had any right to be. It's goofy but not in "wink and nod at the camera constantly", nice low budget mix of Die Hard, Kill Bill, and Ichi the Killer. Not as memorable as any of those, but fun in its own right.
On a side note, the trailer tries to sell it as "Look at how cool this is!" where as the movie plays it up more of "look at how ridiculous this is" which is why the trailer actually fails miserably.

I agree with RichC2...
This movie was a WTF, that kept me glued watching it... never got bored. Certainly not a must see, but if there isn't anything else to see. I believe worth a look.

This movie is ok. Kinda felt overlong though. I think they should have trimmed the Mom and daughter in the apartment subplot and just had them talk over the phone. I like Joe Lynch and thought he did ok with this movie but it really feels like a movie that should have been given to someone like Robert Rodriguez. Overall I'd give it a 2.5/5. It's entertaining and nothing great. Perfect Redbox rental.

It was a 99 cents iTunes rental a few weeks ago and just watched it tonight. I like Salma and I could watch her just read a phone book but this movie was better than the trailer made it out to be.
They went for the excessive blood route but it was entertaining. I agree with robin2099 and give it a 2.5/5 too.
BTW, I wonder if that was really her or a body double showing her ass at the beginning... Man, she still has a good body

What a piece of shit. Sure, it was pretty bloody and had some cool gore effects, and Selma in yoga pants and a low cut tank top is always nice to look at...but my god, this script is just awful. Not that I was expecting anything great, but I can't help but ask myself how the screenwriter and director came up with this and thought "yea, this works"
