40 movies since The Wedding Singer???? That's unbelievable! I actually consider myself to be an Adam Sandler fan, but that's because of Billy Madison, Happy Gillmore and Wedding Singer. Looking over the list, the only ones I have seen since are: Waterboy, Big Daddy, Punch-Drunk Love, Mr. Deeds, 50 First Dates, Funny People, Grown Ups and Top Five.

That said, I may yet get around to R6 and this new one. Not a priority certainly, but maybe on a random rainy Sunday.

I liked most of his stuff through 2011, but then it just got terrible.

I actually enjoyed The Cobbler.

He's doing a movie for Noah Baumbach as we speak.

I finally gave Pixels a shot a few weeks ago. It wasn't near as terrible as I was expecting (plus I was watching with my kids, so I was expecting fluff).

That being said, Sandler looked like he was sleepwalking through the movie. Zero expression, emotion, anything. Easily the worst part of the film.

Pixels would have been 1000x better if it wasn't an Adam Sandler movie. About the only actor who made it watchable was Peter Dinklage. Without him it would have been a total waste.

It's a shame, it could have been a really fun movie if done right.

I feel bad for the people who originally came up with the concept for Pixels. The short movie they did was really great and the potential was certainly there for an awesome family movie. Sandler and team put paid to that. What a waste.

Do Over was alright. A good way to waste some time.

His movies are always laid back and lazy. And that's part of their charm. I guess that's where I enjoy them. I don't want to see a big trend of movies like that. But they have their place.

I would agree it's alright. Definitely would be R-rated. Lots of cussing and some violence. One scene of flashing boobs and another with prosthetic pendulous boobs played for laughs.

I laughed a couple times. David Spades' character is more subdued so he's easier to stomach. Paula Patton is nice eye-candy. If you're totally bored with 2 hours to spare maybe check it out.

What you call an Adam Sandler movie I call the television show "Friends".

I thought Do Over was a big improvement over Ridiculous Six. Not great but I don't regret watching it.

Weird that Jacksonville keeps getting referenced this year. Accurate display of the citizens of Palm Coast.

Sandy Wexler (Adam Sandler) is a talent manager working in Los Angeles in the 1990s who diligently represents a group of eccentric clients on the fringes of show business. His single-minded devotion is put to the test when he falls in love with his newest client, Courtney Clarke (Academy Award® and Grammy® winner Jennifer Hudson), a tremendously talented singer who he discovers at an amusement park.

In addition to Jennifer Hudson and Adam Sandler, Sandy Wexler will also star Kevin James, Terry Crews, Lamorne Morris, Nick Swardson, Rob Schneider, Jane Seymour, Aaron Neville and Arsenio Hall.

Premieres April 14th on Netflix

Is this the last one or does he have 1 more for 4? I'm not sure if the Kevin James on counts.

I wonder if they show these films to GITMO prisoners.

Okay, well I like Jennifer Hudson and Chris Rock. But that wasn't remotely funny.
Is this supposed to be Sandler's Broadway Danny Rose?

Does Adam Sandler have a video of a Netflix executive fucking a goat?

It's the only explanation...

Whatever else you say about him, Sandler is still a name and still has a following. I understand why Netflix wants to work with him.

I'm much more baffled as to why some actually talented, respected stars like Jennifer Hudson, Chris Rock, Penn Jillette and Conan O'Brien want to have anything to do with this project.

Conan and Chris Rock are good friends with Sandler.
