It didn't help Observe and Report to be released only 3 months after Paul Blart. People just wrote it off but it's easily Seth Rogen's best movie.

Well, let me throw out a line here. Does anyone else like Down Periscope, the Kelsey Grammer submarine movie? Or am I the only one?

I'm actually surprised that Pootie Tang hasn't been reevaluated by the internet masses now that Louie C.K. is more popular.

Some others have said
The Cable Guy
Hanna
Alien: Resurrection
Terminator 3
Airplane 2 (although I didn't know that was a hated movie)
The Matrix Sequels (not great, but not unwatchable)
Spiderman 3
Some others
Birthday Girl
View from the Top (I'm a bit embarrassed by this one, but oh well, I still like it)
Lord of Illusions (I don't know if this is hated, but I don't just like it, I love it)

I love Pootie Tang. David Cross in the world's shittiest blackface wearing a fur coat repeating the phrase "I'm Pootie Tang!" over and over had me in stitches.

Yeah, I certainly wouldn't say it's hated. It has a couple of funny bits (most of the Sonny Bono stuff), and Shatner had his moments, but there's no possible way a sequel to one of the funniest films of all-time could even live up to any expectations.
I love Grammer and 90s comedies, but I saw this on one of the Encore stations a few months ago and couldn't watch the whole thing. It certainly wasn't as bad as its reputation, but it didn't really have any redeeming values.
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned any Son-in-Law, Bio-Dome, or Jury Duty. Usually there are some Pauly Shore apologists out there.

Son-in-Law works due to the infinitely watchable Carla Gugino.
I'll try another one: Dee Snider's Strangeland, and not just because of Linda Cardellini. Other than the obvious attempt to create another "franchise" horror villain in Captain Howdy, I kind of enjoyed this. I liked the vigilante aspect when Captain Howdy was found not guilty by reason of insanity, combined with the conundrum of him being harmless as long as he stayed on his meds.

Back to the Future Part II and Part III- I don't know if people really hate these but there seems to be a certain crowd (mostly online) who think only the first one is any good. I love all three equally.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Halloween III: Season of the Witch
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines- my least favorite of the series but I don't hate it.
Terminator Salvation

I don't even know what these other Matrix movies are. I only remember the first film and the Animatrix.
BttF III gets a bad rap, and I don't know why. It's a lot of fun. II is as brilliant as I, IMO.

Better than II? Nonsense. It's great entertainment but not as compelling as the first two. It was however a necessary step back from the complexity of the second, something that would have greatly benefited the third Pirates of the Caribbean film.

I'm very biased, but Part II is my favorite of the Trilogy. Regardless of what Terminator: GENISYS is attempting to do, you will never see another film like it or one that does it as well as Gale and Zemeckis pulled it off.
It wasn't until the internet when they came out on DVD that I found out some people didn't care for the sequels, and were pissed that Universal wouldn't release the first film separately. Say what you want, but I view them as one story.
If you ever get a chance, find Bob Gale's original "Number Two" script that leaked online about a decade ago. It's night and day from the Paradox spec, which became BTTF Parts II & III.

Whatever is wrong with DKR (and you could make compelling arguments against many problems with it), it's not in the same universe of terrible as the TF movies. Though, admittedly, few things are....I have to revisit the whole DK trilogy one of these days....

Yeah I've always viewed the trilogy as one big story too. I know Gale and Zemeckis didn't originally intend for sequels to be made but they feel pretty seamless and I can't imagine the first film as a stand alone one. They all work so well together.
