Meh, I'd prefer they kept the characters in the arcade/video game realm. The nostalgia of the old arcade made the first one a fun experience. I really have no desire to see Ralph bouncing around cat vids and tired memes.

Love the title, hope it means the story won't take itself too seriously, looking forward to seeing Ralph terrorizing meme characters.

Had no idea Disney did this. Seems unusual for them. The animation was different, I think, don't remember too well. It was a lot of fun though and this seems funner

Yeah, didn't Ralph and Brave come out the same year and everybody thought that Disney and Pixar got their movies mixed up? Ralph feels like something Pixar would have been all over and it's hard to trust anything from them afterwards.

Ralph is officially going online.
Disney shared new plot details for Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 during Friday's animation panel at D23. And it turns out, the film sees Ralph (John C. O’Reilly) and Vanellope (Sarah Silverman) travel into the Internet to find a spare part to fix Sugar Rush after it breaks.
Along the way, they will meet series newcomer Yesss (Taraji P. Henson), an expert on the viral parts of the internet whom Ralph seeks out for help. The audience was treated to a clip, which shows Vanellope meeting with all of the Disney princesses - an impressive scene which set the stage for an equally impressive reunion on stage, bringing the crowd to its feet for stars including Ming Na Wen (Mulan), Idina Menzel (Frozen), Kristen Bell (Frozen) Jodi Benson (The Little Mermaid), Paige O’Hara (Beauty and the Beast), Linda Larkin (Aladdin), Anika Noni Rose (The Princess and the Frog), Mandy Moore (Tangled), Kelly MacDonald (Tangled), Auli'i Cravalho (Moana)
Rich Moore returns to direct the sequel, along with Phil Johnson, who joined Moore as one of the writers on the original.
The film opens Nov. 21, 2018.

Sounds pretty good. The part with the Disney princesses coming together should be fun to see. The first film was a surprise.

Somehow never saw the original until yesterday. Loved it! Hopefully it’s one of those films with Easter egg type background items that i’ll Notice in future viewings.

I watched it without sound and I am still ready to burst out laughing. The little girl's reaction in the backseat of the car at the end seems destined to become an instant classic (or at least a meme or two). Can't wait to get home and watch this. The original was such a pleasant surprise and I think this is going to be a big win for Disney in the Fall.
