Enjoyed the first. Amy Adams in the tight pants was the sole redeeming quality of the second. It was pretty putrid. Not surprised from a money standpoint, but am surprised from a quality standpoint they'd make another.

I'm guessing the caveman is supposed to be a very distant ancestor of Stiller's character hence why it's Stiller in both roles.
