I'd actually be OK with this. But then I never cared for the idea twenty years ago. I don't think I've ever seen the original.

Even if this was real I don't think it would work. The reason the original Space Jam is sort of a fun film is because Michael Jordan seems like a pretty likable guy in real life, Lebron James doesn't seem that way to me as much.

Plus Jordan was liked by pretty much everyone. I wasn't a bball fan ever, even now. But I liked Jordan cuz he was cool and was pretty damn good at his thing. Has SJ aged well and how is the BD? Loved SJ as a kid.

I'd say if you grew up with it you'd probably still like it. It's a pretty fun movie but nothing outstanding obviously. I always liked Jordan and the Looney Tunes though.

I mean Geez, would you all rather have Kevin Durant or Carmelo?
I realize a lot of the posters in Movie Talk probably aren't NBA fans, but LeBron is 2-time NBA champion and probably the biggest star of the NBA right now.

I think more what TimeSkip is going for is do enough people like him to want to see him in a film.
