Raiders of the Lost Ark

Several Christmas/Holiday traditions:

It's A Wonderful Life
Christmas Vacation (funnily enough, my 81 year old mom's favorite)
A Christmas Story

Nothing I *have* to watch but several I tend to watch annually:

Holiday:
Miracle on 34th St (1954)
Christmas in Connecticut (1945)
Mixed Nuts (1994)
Holiday Inn (1942)
Christmas Vacation (1989)
Scrooged (1988)
Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987)

Other:
Frankenstein (1931)
Dracula (1931)
The Wolf Man (1941)
Planet of the Apes (1968)
The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951)
The Thing from Another World (1951)
Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956)
The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938)
Captain Blood (1935)
The Producers (1967)
A film or two from The Marx Brothers
A film or two from Abbott & Costello
One or two of The Road films from Crosby & Hope
Monty Python and the Holy Grail and/or The Life or Brian
A few shorts from Laurel & Hardy
A few shorts from The Three Stooges
A few shorts from The Little Rascals

A Christmas Story on Christmas. Over and over and over again.

Nothing required. We almost always watch White Christmas each year, though.

I used to watch Poltergeist every summer on a really hot day but have relaxed in the last year or two.

I'll add another mention for LA Confidential. The only "Christmas" movie I really watch.

My 2013 post aged poorly because I haven’t seen any of these in at least a couple years other than the Peanuts stuff.

These days I’ll rewatch The Holiday and maybe Love Actually, but I don’t rewatch stuff as often as I used to.
