No, he's right. Marceau does indeed have one spoken line in SILENT MOVIE. That was the joke; the only one who speaks in the entire movie is a mime who was famous for never speaking.

He's not in the opening credits. That's literally half of the original question. He's a cameo. Pretty sure you can name hundreds of famous people who have one or two lines in movies that were nowhere near being billed in the opening credits.

Janeane Garafolo is on the DVD cover and is fourth billed in Permanent Midnight. She appears in two scenes, does almost nothing, makes one joke twice, and her dialogue pretty much equals what I've just written. That's probably a little closer to what this topic was getting at.
