I can't keep it to just one.
Man of Steel
Oldboy (not sure why I was so disappoint as the original wasn't that good to begin with)
Fast 6
21 Jumpstreet
The Muppets (the last one)

Spring Breakers
Stoker
Then again maybe I should not have been disappointed since I have yet to see a film by Harmony Korine that I have liked and the only film by Park Chan-wook that I have liked is Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance.

Thor: The Dark World
I loved Hemsworth and Hiddleston, but everyone else was entirely wasted. Least compelling villain in the MCU thus far, just edging out Rourke's Whiplash.

I was going to say Identity Thief, but then I realized had ZERO expectations as Seth Gordon makes piece-of-shit movie after piece-of-shit movie (even while dumbass audiences seem to eat this crap up)... and even with zero expectations, it was still worse than I thought imaginable.
But not a disappointment.
Hmm... I'll go with Room 237. Imagine listening to a bunch of badly-recorded Internet shitheads making specious claims about a movie they barely understand for two hours. While drilling holes in your feet.

And the reason I thought Elysium was mediocre was that I didn't like that a white boy was the savior of the universe. Why was Matt Damon the only white guy on Earth? All I kept hearing in the back of my mind was Hooper X from Chasing Amy.

Re: Last movie that disappointed you?
I had a few:
The Heat - Had a good deal of hype and wound up being a pretty much Laugh-free comedy, long and dull.
Man of Steel - After hearing generally good comments on it, I found myself bored and irritated by it.
Pleasant surprises:
The Wolverine - After hearing some mixed reviews I went in apprehensive, IMO, second best in the franchise next to X2. (Saw the Extended only)
Elysium - D9 was boring as hell and word of mouth was pretty poor on this one, but despite being heavy handed as hell it was a surprisingly entertaining flick. The only thing that really stuck out was Jodie Foster's god awful accent.

Easily Elysium. I loved D9 and this was a waste of my time. Miscasting galore, boring action, lame preachy message that wasnt handled as well as in D9.

Star Trek into Darkness. I thought the first reboot was overrated, but it had an ingenious plot device to establish a new continuity and has a nice energetic script. Into Darkness was weirdly paced and wasted Benedict Cumberbatch. Mainly, these two movies have reduced Star Trek to one-note explosion-filled action pics. The previous movies at least tackled some deeper concepts about character or an analysis on the impact of certain technologies. Now it's become just another space battle genre series. Old episodes of TNG were much more provocative than Into Darkness.

Oh, I forgot Rock Of Ages. Incredibly awesome live stage musical... beyond fucking POS awful movie. They completely changed and totally gutted both the story and the characters to the point where it barely resembled the original show.
I got free tickets to an early screening and still felt I massively overpaid.

Yeah, that is exactly how I felt about Lee's OldBoy. Really wanted to see it, was hoping it wasn't a waste of celluloid, but after wom and reviews my interest waned and thus I will wait for home release and decide if I want to buy or just rent. Too bad too.

Before this came out I was expecting to be really disappointed in it going off of the trailers and whatnot. It actually wound up being one of my favorite superhero movies of the year though. I thought Jackman gave a good performance and I thought it was an interesting choice to make the movie more of a Wolverine character study rather than a full on action movie. It has some problems, mainly the villains but aside from that the film was overall pretty damn enjoyable I thought.
