Hopefully her acting improves. The movie should have cheese like the original, but if her acting isn't improved it'll just come off like DTV release.

The only way this could sound worse is if Christopher Nolan wrote and directed with his brother and Hans Zimmer did the "score".

Yes, Swayze has given great performances, but he's also been in movies where real acting wasn't necessary. Tom Cruise proved it with Cocktail, where real acting wasn't a priority.

There are roles where acting isnt necessary. But talent wise Rousey is an acting vacuum. Shes so bad that your attention cant help but be drawn to the fact that shes terrible. The vacuum sucks the life out of whatever scene shes in. Shes Paris Hilton bad.

Casting Rhonda Rousey pretty much confirms that this will be PG-13. Everything that made the original endure for so long will not be included because of the female lead. No bloody bar brawls, random nudity, no modern day equivalent to Kelly Lynch, and no bad cheesy dialogue. If Rousey is a lesbian that might be interesting but there is no way that could happen for a major studio picture. Also is Rob Cohen still directing? That guy has never made a good movie in his life.
