Vin Diesel just got a star on the Walk of Fame
Lesser stars have been given the honor, too, but for some reason this has me rolling right now. I know these can essentially be bought, but Diesel? For what?

The stars are financed through public donations to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. Each star is voted on by the Chamber committee itself, which receives an average of 200 applications every year. The celebrity in question and/or their legal representatives must agree with the nomination, and only official submissions to the Chamber are considered.

I remember rolling my eyes regarding the walk of fame thing for the first time when the power rangers got it. The fcking power rangers

When I first got online way back when, I remember seeing a petition to get a star for the New Kids on the Block. Don't know if that ever actually happened.
